Job Overview

The role is to assist the Golf Course Superintendent of Thana City Country Club's golf course maintenance department, reporting to Thana City Country Club's Golf Course Superintendent and Director of Golf, delivering exceptional guest experience through the superb golf course condition.

This role would suit a high performing individual, with strong golf course agronomy background to uplift and maintain the best playing condition of the golf course and support other golf club activities related to the golf course and etc., whilst a sound understanding of golf course maintenance and agronomy would be a distinct advantage. 

​

A strong understanding of people and leadership, that will be seen as an inspiration by their colleagues, a motivator for pro shop team to achieve the best of the best and deliver a Wow experience.

​

This position requires the successful candidate to be fluent in both written and spoken Thai. The business level of communication English language would be a distinct advantage.

Job Description​​

• Assists Golf Course Superintendent in day to day operations of golf course maintenance programme to deliver consistently superb playing condition 

• Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget for golf course maintenance department

• Reviews and evaluates golf course maintenance programme and working system

• Supervises team members and provides corresponding trainings

• Effectively manage golf course maintenance colleagues

• Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments

Qualification and Competency

• Thai Nationality

• Bachelor degree in Agronomy major or related subjects

Experiences

• Working Experience in Management level at least 5-7 years and a successful track record as Assistance Golf Course Superintendent/ Junior Assistance Golf Course Superintendent or Supervisor of Golf Course Maintenance Team with knowledge in golf course irrigation, fertiliser and chemical, landscape, cultivation programme, and machinery

• Advance skills for Microsoft Office (Words, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
