Absolute Golf Services Co., Ltd is a leading provider of management and consultancy services to Golf and Sports Clubs in Asia. We are currently seeking for a highly skilled and motivated leader to join our growing team in Thailand.

 

Job Overview

 

We are currently seeking experienced and high performing exeuctive chef, with hospitality background, who will be responsible for coordinating and leading Kitchen department of the golf club to ensure food product quality standards are met at all times and optimum service is provided to golf club guests according to the Aquella Golf & Country Club  international standards. Working in conjunction  with the F&B manager to develop the F&B offerings of the golf club culinary department to ensure constant improvement, guest satisfaction and guest experience.

This position requires the successful candidate to be fluent in both written and spoken Thai and Business level of communication English language.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handlings all supervisory and operational kitchen matter

  • Lead and execution of entire food production for all Restaurants and F&B outlets through subordinate supervisors   

  • To check the quality and preparation of all food products to ensure that they are correctly prepared according to recipes

  • To monitor and maintain the highest quality standards of food preparations and kitchen service

  • To strictly adhere to the opening and closing procedures established for Department

  • Oversees training of kitchen teams both in the main kitchen and colleague cafeteria on all aspect of the kitchen operations

  • Coordination of all utensils for day-to-day operation with stewarding department

  • Supervision and control of sanitation and cleanliness of all kitchen outlets. Including storage areas, back of the house and refrigerators on daily basis

  • To maintain and monitor operating food supplies par stock and control spoilage and wastage

  • Manage food costs according to budget

  • To train and coach new recruits through on-the-job-training

  • Establish creative, innovative menus for the restaurant, outlets that encourage guest consumption and repeat business and colleague cafeteria, closely monitoring the day-to-day operation and sales reports to evaluate menu performance

  • Oversees monthly inventory list and stock keeping

  • To supervise all catering matters in terms of breakfast, buffet, set menu, and coffee break set ups, including menu preparation, refill and clearing of such 

 

Qualifications:

  • At least 3-year experience as Executive Chef Position preferably in the golf/fundraising/hospitality/service industries, or equivalent combination of education and experience 

  • Strong result oriented, people management, and leadership skills

  • Highly skills and innovative in culinary operations, with a passion for creating highly regarding menus and specialty dishes

  • Proficient in computer software including Microsoft Office Suite 

  • Strong in English communication skill, and computer literate 

  • Strong in analytical, problem solving skills, and execution of work

  • Solid time management, organisation, and prioritisation skills; ability to work independently

  • Strong leadership and people skills, plus the ability to build and foster a team environment desired
