Job Overview

The role is to oversee the management and further development of Nikanti Golf Club, reporting to AGS’s Managing Director, delivering exceptional guest experience and continued financial success of the golf club.

This role would suit a high performing manager, he/she must have a proven track record for delivering the highest level of guest satisfaction from a service perspective, a sound understanding of agronomy is a must, whilst a strong grasp of F&B operations would be an distinct advantage.

A strong manager of people, that will be seen as an inspiration by their colleagues, a motivator for each department to achieve the best of the best and deliver a Wow experience

This position requires the successful candidate to be fluent in both written and spoken Thai language

Job Description

  • Deliver the highest level of presentation in all areas, both guest facing and back of house

  • Ensure the Nikanti brand is upheld at all times and the facility continually strives for excellence in all areas

  • Ensure all operating services are fully prepared before the first guests arrive

  • Engage with guests, both formally and informally to identify guest feedback and understand areas for guest experience improvement

  • Prepare the Annual Operation Plan and once approved, achieving the results

  • Initiate and present opportunities for events, both golf and F&B; lead the marketing of the golf club, providing quarterly plans for new revenue growth

  • Direct the monthly action plan, monitor and analyze results, implement corrective action as and when required

  • Lead the weekly management meeting and relay relevant information to employees

  • Manage Employees scheduling to ensure availability of responsible employees during operating hours

  • Present monthly reports to AGS’s Managing Director and Golf Club Managing Director in the required format for the golf’s business

  • Develop, adapt and implement Standard Operating Procedure for all functions, as required

  • Represent the facility as an Ambassador and spokesperson for all golf club related external communication

  • Manage external service providers and their contracts effectively

  • Achieve a satisfactory compromise between political pressures and the interest of golf club

  • Approve ordering of golf club supplies, equipment and services according to the approved budget

Qualification and Competency


  • 5 years minimum experience in managing golf club in Southeast Asia

  • Poses a strong understanding of golf club / resort pre-opening operations
