Absolute Golf Services Appoints Simon Mees as General Manager, Strengthening AGS Leadership Team to Support Managed Clubs and Regional Expansion

Bangkok, Thailand, 7 January 2026. Absolute Golf Services (AGS), Asia’s specialist golf and leisure management company, today proudly announced the appointment of Simon Mees as General Manager, joining the AGS leadership team to support AGS managed clubs across the region and contribute to the company’s ongoing business development and growth strategy.
Simon brings three decades of international golf industry experience spanning Scotland, the Middle East, Vietnam and Thailand, with a reputation for operational excellence, team leadership and elevating service standards at premium golf destinations.
In his role with AGS, Simon will work closely with AGS Leadership, club owners and on-property leadership teams to further strengthen day to day performance, enhance the member and guest experience, and support AGS’s regional expansion through project support, pre-opening advisory and management transitions.
Simon has prior experience working with AGS, including his most recent role as General Manager at Pineapple Valley Golf Club, Hua Hin which has equipped him with not only an in depth knowledge of AGS operational expertise, along with a strong commercial understanding of how to drive performance whilst meeting the expectations of owners and developers, within the fast paced and evolving golf and leisure markets of Asia.
